Trekking Routes: Lago Cabrera- Hornopirén X región

Hello everybody how are you?

Espero que bien, me reporto desde otro lugar del bello pueblo de Hornopirén esta vez le toca al Lago Cabrera.

I really hope you are fine, i am reporting to you from the beautiful town of Hornopirén but this time am in Cabrera Lake.

Primero debo hacer una pequeña intro, la primera idea de nosotros fue ir al parque nacional Hornopirén el cual fuimos, peeeeero pasó que a los dos kilómetros del sendero estaba todo lleno de barro y no apto para continuar, por lo tanto, plan B; Lago Cabrera, entre otros lados.

First of all, i need to say that before going to the Lake the plan was other, we went to the Hornopirén National park, buuuut we were there for a couple of kilometres (2 km) and it was covered of mud we couldnt Make it 😞. So there it comes plan B; Cabrera Lake, among other places.

Y como les contaba los planes cambiaron y nos fuimos al Lago, es un camino bastante largo, en el vehículo solo recorrimos 1,5 km de un sendero de 8,5 así que caminamos 7km de ida y 7km: total 14 más los 4km del sendero del parque 18km de caminatas. 

And as i tell you before plans changed and we went to the lake, is a long road, you can go by car but we aproach 1,5 km of a trail of 8,5km so we walk 7km.
